Life with a Puppy III –

This week was quite exciting for Lana. We went to Berlin on Monday. She managed the long drive without leaving traces of destruction and piranha teeth prints anywhere and only omitted twice. So this was a success =)

In Berlin we are house sitting for friends and she got used to the new environment super easy. She didn’t even have wee accidents! It might be ok one day to only pee outside. For now she’s doing it in the garden and in her bed. But I am sure we’ll get there. She will probably get used to letting me know she needs to go outside before she’s doing her business. At the moment my mornings usually start with a crying dog baby who tells me she just peed in her own bed which is now uncomfortably wet…

But back to Berlin. She is doing great and I am super impressed! We went to the Berlin Wedding Meetup and she stole everybody’s heart. Strangers? Lana likes them. We went for city walks nearly without a leash – she is coming back just fine and always looking out for me. She learned not to approach every stranger but to only watch them while sitting by my side…
And she’s been on public transport the first time! Subway with a 10 week old puppy? No problem with Lana – she’s checking out what Bino is up to and is doing the same. It’s honestly amazing =)

Unfortunately I didn’t manage to take some city photos of her as she is either sticking to me like a duckling or I am trying to watch two dogs at once not stepping on the busy road. Or telling strangers that the cute puppy is not to be pet by everybody – well if they don’t want her to jump at them with 40kg at least.
