Life with a Puppy VII –

This week was full of “oh she is soooo cute and smart and pretty and…all kinds of amazing” and a massive “Lana is free for adoption” moment.

The first half of the week we spent at home and I had a whole heap of work to do, so these days were apart of the vet visit in Karlsruhe rather boring for the dogs. Lana was as brave and well trained at the vet as Bino, both were super lovely during their x-rays and we got great news: Nothing is wrong with Lana’s leg, the limping might have only been due to her growing so fast… And Bino has no arthritis!

On Thursday Ingo, myself and the dogs left for Berlin and this drive was truly interesting. All the “oh she is cute and lovely” changed into “Puppy free for adoption!”. Lana apparently had served herself a second secret breakfast including some stones and little rocks…which she vomited out at the most inconvenient time at the autobahn…not once, not twice but three times! Thankfully I was gave her water after the first vomiting attack which hit only my car door and so the next attacks spread it all even out over half of my car…the pleasures of owning a puppy!

But eventually we made it to Berlin without any more inconveniences and Lana is her usual happy self…she’s just awesome in the city! Underground? -No worries! Lots of people? -Fun! Walking on a leash? -Mostly without pulling.
Other than that she missed out the exciting penalty shoot-out GER-IT last night because she was deep asleep in the beer garden…she’s totally not into soccer!
