Copenhagen Beach Elopement –

Copenhagen is quite a popular destination in Europe for elopements and destination weddings. Why? Because the Danish bureaucracy makes it quite easy for international couples to get officially married there.

Together with Franzi and Anders we created a little inspiration for how a relaxed elopement at the beaches in Denmark could look. Did you know that a ceremony can be held outdoors in Denmark, too? This all seems so much more relaxed than in Germany…I am impressed and cannot wait to photograph a real wedding in Copenhagen one day!

We used our trip to Copenhagen for a little style shoot to create a wedding inspiration for a beach wedding. I love the beach and I also love the fact that in Denmark you can get married anywhere you want to, you don’t need to go to an indoor Civil Register Office, no you can get the registrar to come to your chosen spot. So you can get married at your favourite place! For me that would totally be the beach…

We got provided with a beautiful short wedding dress by Rena Sposa in Stuttgart, designed by Küss die Braut. The dress is easy to wear with your favourite boots at the beach but as well an elegant combination with petticoat and high heels for the party at night. I like this!

The bridal bouquet is made out of Persian buttercups and therefore a very simple and spring like arrangement which is as easy and light as the thought of a beach wedding…

The lovestory of Anders and Franzi is an international one, too! This one is German-Danish and by the looks of all the couples I have met in Copenhagen (see them here and here) Copenhagen is the place to live!
