Mountain Wedding on Top of Zugspitze –

Birgit and Erko said their I-do’s on Germany’s highest mountain.

This was a special wedding for me as a wedding photographer – it wasn’t an elopement but the two lovers and their daughter were only accompanied by family members and it was quite an intimate wedding which was really lovely. The ceremony was held on top of the mountaintop of the Zugspitze with us overlooking the beautiful scenery. It was breathtaking! And also my first visit of the Zugspitze…

We went up in a cable car in beautiful sunshine but clouds came in during the ceremony. But this didn’t stop them from having a fantastic day.
I loved the fog and amazing setting for the wedding portraits and afterwards they went up the very top of the mountain to show us their love.
