Wedding Photographer Crailsheim –
An Afghan-German Castle Wedding
Ali and Angelina are a wonderful couple and so much in love with each other. I am extremely lucky to call these two beautiful humans my friends by now. Well, what means by now – we pretty much connected right from the first email they sent me. Our first catch up to get to know each other quickly turned from a “photographer and couple meeting” to a relaxed evening with friends. This is exactly the way I’d love to meet all my couples!
But let’s talk about their wonderful international wedding at the Wasserschloss (which means water castle) Erkenbrechtshausen…
It all starts with a relaxed getting ready which bride and groom do apart from each other as they decided to have a first look. I think a first look is one of the most intimate and unique moments on a wedding day and I am always extremely happy for my couples when they decide to do one. This is a truly special moment and in my eyes it gets even more special if it is only shared between bride and groom.
After the first look the wedding day with all its celebrations and beautiful moments. A day Ali and Angi get to spend with so many of their loved ones: friends and family from close and far came to celebrate the wedding.
The outdoor wedding ceremony which is accompanied by a beautiful harp player is only one of the highlights…and the rain during which starts right when Angi walks down the isle and lasts only as as the ceremony definitely makes for a lot of unforgettable wedding moments! And you know what they say: A rainy wedding means good luck!
Oh and have I mentioned what the amazing family of Ali did? They are making the complete wedding buffet themselves and spend all afternoon in the kitchen to cater for more than 100 guests, isn’t that impressive? And right after all the food is eaten all of the guests start right into a smashing party…what a day!
Ali and Angi gave me complete freedom with their bridal portraits which means we went out for two portrait sessions which both didn’t last much longer than 15 minutes, if at all… One of them was in the afternoon during the reception and the for the other session I sneaked out with the couple at sunset…
This way I had the chance to photograph bride and groom in two different light situations and moments and Ali and Angi got to enjoy some moments of togetherness as newlywed couple… I believe that these moments are truly special for each couple and I am always happy if I can make it possible for bride and groom to sneak out of the busy wedding day for only a few moments of cuddling and love with just the two of them.
