Relaxed Wedding in Nuertingen –

Mid June I had the wonderful honour to photograph Sarah’s and Christoph’s wedding.
Sarah and I met a year ago at the Wedding Wonderland fair in Stuttgart and we connected right away. There was this amazing connection which I wish for with every bride…we laughed together and it felt like we’ve known each other for much longer than only a few minutes. And her girlfriends were so lovely, too. When Sarah left I was still pretty certain I wouldn’t see her again as she already had a photographer booked for her wedding… But a few months later I got a super sweet email form her and she asked if their date would still be available (knowing there was little to no chance as I am usually booked out about a year in advance…). But sometimes things are just meant to happen! I had a cancellation for that date a week before due to an unexpected circumstance for another couple and therefore I was available. Sarah booked me within half an hour and I was so stoked to be allowed to photograph her wedding!
When we met a few weeks later, her soon-to-be husband Christoph joined us and we had such a fun afternoon. These two are so full of happiness, it is contagious!

Understandably I was super excited about their wedding day…

I joined Sarah for the getting ready, Ingo visited the guys and photographed them getting ready, too. I do love to cover both the grooms and the brides preparation for the wedding day…these photos are so emotional and in my eyes they have a huge value.
Later on we were allowed to photograph the couples first look and I must say I had tears of joy in my eyes…there was so much love and happiness, it was amazing.

After some couple portraits in Nürtingen we went over to the church, and the priest held a very relaxed and fun ceremony which was accompanied by many laughters and beautiful moments. I dare to say, this was the most fun and relaxed catholic ceremony I have witnessed so far!

After a dance out of the church, lots of hugs from the guests and smiles all around we went to the hotel “Schwanen” in Köngen and the party got started.

Sarah and Christoph were so extremely positive that not even a rain shower during the group photos could wash away their smiles…they danced in the rain and didn’t worry about a wet wedding dress or anything else. It was an amazing day and we are super happy that we were allowed to meet this stunning couple as well as their lovely guests!

PS: I am going to Holland next week to meet the family again…so there will be more to come from these guys!
